Off-Line Tuning of Fractional Order PI? Controller by Using Response Surface Method for Induction Motor Speed Control

Abstract


Fractional order PI? control has no application with dsPIC microcontroller whereas the controller is used widely in the industry. For this reason, fractional order PI? voltage / frequency (V/f) speed control of induction motor is realized with dsPIC30F4011 microcontroller for industrial applications. Integer order PI and fractional order PI? controllers are optimized by using response surface methodology. Integer order PI and Fractional order PI? controller results are compared. Although fractional order PI? controller has complex algorithm its results are better than integer order PI controller.
