A convolution approach for parameters and delay systems identification

Abstract


This paper with online parameters and delay estimation of systems involving retarded phenomena. Using a convolution based approach, it generalizes to arbitrary inputs existing estimation results based on structured ones, while keeping the geeneralized eigenvalue structure. The proposed estimation algrithms allow for updated estimations, avoiding possible singularities in the matrix pencil. Theoretical results are supported by numerical simulations
