Abstract

This study presents a robust stability analysis method for fractional order systems with multiple linear uncertainty structures. A numerical method, which is based on transforming fractional orders to expanded integer orders, has been used for the robust stability check of fractional order multiple linear uncertain control systems. Scan sampling method is used to investigate exact root region of fractional order multiple linear uncertain systems that will be a criterion for robust stability. Types of linear uncertainties are represented and multiple versions of these uncertainties are studied in these analyses. Exposed edge sampling is used to decrease computational complexity of the robust stability analysis procedure. The proposed method is demonstrated on illustrative examples.
