Abstract

The paper presents some aspects about the control of processes with important load variations during their operation and discusses adequate control solutions for this problem. The first one is based on a multiple model structure and the second one on a feedback-feedforward structure. Their applicability is analyzed by means of a real-time structure implementation using a RST control algorithm. Based on the software implementation, an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed solutions is made. Based on the observations a third solution is proposed. This is a combination between multiple model and feedforward structure, with better results.
