- Abstract
- In the flexible manufacturing systems the desynchronizing dysfunction is a consequence of the temporal uncertainties propagation. From this reason the desynchronizing dysfunction has a predictable nature and could lead to global blocking situation. The predictable feature requires the off-line monitoring techniques to be appropriated for the processing method of the desynchronizing dysfunctions. This paper proposes a monitoring methodology for desynchronizing dysfunctions based on modeling, system behavior analysis and desynchronizing avoidance. The representation formalism is timed discrete event systems, and the chosen modeling and analysis tools are T-temporal Petri Nets and timed automata, respectively. The proposed monitoring methodology could also differentiate between three major disturbance types.
