Abstract

For satellite proximation with non-cooperative target, uncertainties and state-dependent disturbances, this paper is concerned with an adaptive finite-time (AFT) six degrees of freedom (6-DOF) control. First, to ensure the accurate relative maneuvers, the 6-DOF coupled system of the satellite is constructed. Then to realize high precision proximity control, an AFT 6-DOF coupled control strategy with a self-adjustment function is developed. The self-adjustment function is exploited to improve the convergence performance. Coupled adaptive update laws are developed to estimate the unknown mass, inertia and disturbance. Comparisons of simulation are provided to discuss the properties of the AFT 6-DOF control.
